Create Your Account

Sign up for Translate Desk and set up your organization to start translating your help center.

This guide walks you through creating your Translate Desk account and setting up your organization.

To get started, navigate to the sign up page and enter your email address and a secure password. You'll receive a confirmation email with a link to verify your account.

After clicking the confirmation link, you'll be redirected to the dashboard where you can complete your setup.

Free Trial

All new accounts start with a free trial that includes credits to translate your first articles. No credit card is required to get started. You can begin translating immediately after creating your account.

Organization Setup

When you first sign in, you'll be prompted to create or name your organization. An organization represents your company or team and contains all your articles, translations, and settings.

Organization Name

Choose a name that clearly identifies your team or company. This name appears in your dashboard and helps distinguish your workspace if you're part of multiple organizations.

You can update your organization name later from the settings page if needed.

Initial Credits

New organizations receive 5 free credits to translate your first articles. No credit card is required to get started.

Credits are used when you translate articles. Each translation consumes 1 credit per article per language. For example, translating 1 article into 3 languages uses 3 credits.

You can purchase additional credits at any time from the dashboard. Learn more about How much does Translate Desk cost? and How do credits work?.

What Happens Next

After creating your organization, you'll see the dashboard with options to:

  1. Connect Intercom: Link your Intercom workspace to import articles. Learn more in How do I connect my Intercom workspace?.
  2. Import Articles: Once connected, your articles will automatically sync from Intercom. See Import Articles from Intercom for details.
  3. Start Translating: Begin translating your first article right away. See How do I translate an article? to get started.

Team Members

After creating your organization, you can invite team members to collaborate. Team members can help translate articles, manage glossaries, and monitor translation status.

You'll be set as an admin by default, which gives you full access to all features. Learn more about How do I invite team members?.
